David Nail is returning to the road - this time as the headliner. He'll head out this fall on his "I'm A Fire" tour, which is slated to start in Oxford, Mississippi on September 11th. The trek currently runs 22 dates, but more stops are expected to be added.
The duo Native Run is on board as the opener. David spent time earlier this year as an opener as well, warming up crowds for Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum.
Nail tells Rolling Stone Country it's "so much fun" to tour with big acts, knowing "there's going to be five, ten, or even 15,000 people out there when you play," but it's "always difficult" to only have a 35-minute time slot. David says when he's playing a full 75-to-90-minute set, he can "really lay back" and "show the range of the past three records."
Tickets for Nail's "I'm A Fire" tour go on sale this Friday.
David is also playing shows this summer. He'll be performing at the Sweetwater County Fair in Rock Springs, Wyoming on Tuesday. Fans can find Nail's full schedule at his website, DavidNail.com.
