1 Injured In Drive-By At Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge

A drive-by shooting injured a man Sunday night near the Bob Kerrey pedestrian bridge.

Police tell WOWT 6 News that someone in a silver sedan n drove up next to a red sedan and opened fire. Four people were inside the red car. The silver sedan fled the scene and three passengers also fled.

One of those passengers was hit and walked into the hospital a short time later. That person's condition has not yet been released.

Police say blood was found on the bridge itself.

This is the second time a shooting has occurred at the pedestrian bridge. In May of 2013, gunfire rang out and 26-year-old Shamari Richards was shot on the bridge. He later died at the hospital.
