Oscar winning actress Patty Duke, is coming to Omaha for a benefit screening of "The Miracle Worker," later this spring.
Duke, who played Helen Keller, won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for the 1962 film, will be the featured speaker.
Omaha film historian Bruce Crawford, waited for Duke's schedule to open up so she could attend the May 23rd event.
Tickets are on sale now for $22 at all Omaha Hy-Vee stores.
The screening will be held at the Joslyn Art Museum's Witherspoon Concert Hall at 22nd and Dodge at 7 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds go to the Omaha Parks Foundation.
