Baby Boomers are being encouraged to get tested for Hepatitis C.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center is now part of an international Hepatitis C registry. The database will track thousands of patients over the next five years, to monitor the safety and effectiveness of new drugs.
Dr. Mark Mallard says 103 locations in 31 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and Europe have joined the network. And so far, the outcome has been positive on the more than 120 people that have been studied.
