As the weather begins turning colder, more and more homeless families and individuals are showing up at the Siena-Francis House looking for shelter.
Executive Director Mike Saklar says they've been recently averaging over 500 men, women & children staying in their facilities each night and those numbers are expected to go up over the next few months.
Saklar says with these increasing numbers they are in critical need of blankets and pillows. He is asking the public to consider donating any used or un-used, twin-sized blankets and pillows.
All donations can be dropped off to the loading dock of the Baright Shelter located 1
The loading dock is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.every day of the year. Staff members at the loading dock will issue receipts to anyone dropping off donations.
