During two post season games Peyton Manning drew plenty of attention in Omaha and around the country for shouting "Omaha, Omaha" many times at the line of scrimmage.
Omaha business leaders decided to take advantage of the free publicity and contribute money to Manning's foundation for at-risk children each time he called the "Omaha" audible.
During an appearance at Midtown Crossing on Thursday Manning was presented with a $68-thousand check and a key to the city. Manning expressed his gratituted to the city and businesses.
"I never thought a football play calling word would turn into a way to raise money for kids going through tough times."
