The Viewing Tower, which held t.v. cameras and media personnel during College World Series and Omaha Royals games, has a new home at Wildlife Safari Park.
The Tower also has a new name, Crane Meadows Viewing Tower. Leading up to the 28 foot tower is a bridge that crosses over a small creek complete with boardwalk and a deck that extends over the water.
From the top of the Tower, visitors will get a birds’ eye view of a variety of species, including sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans, native free ranging waterfowl, shorebirds, herons, turtles and frogs. The Crane Meadows Viewing Tower is free with general admission or with Wildlife Safari Park membership.
